When I heard that besides Quake 4, who is the son of Quake3 and the grandson of Quake2, Raven is making an RPG named Black Crypt, I felt both a little disappointed and a little hopeful, cuz Black Crypt seemed to be Heretic2's cousin. So they are developing something still connected to Heretic/Hexen. But when I saw a new section of another RPG X-Men Legends turned up with a bunch of posts sayinjg it's a PS2 project, I almost fainted! BRING BACK HERETIC AND HEXEN! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! FURIOUSLY PLEASE!

Actually, Black Crypt is a port of Raven's first ever game which appeared way back on the Amiga. It is, however, still an excellent game and in my opinion was better than Dungeon Master.
