I play full game and sometimes with one of my friends demo. Full game is working properly but demo gives the "invalid cd key" message. I dont know how it is possible that the demo gives a cd key message cause a demo never has one. And that story of gamespy doing something with the servers is also a lot of crap cause i dont even have gamespy installed anymore, i connect straight from the game. I tried downloading and installing the demo again but nothing seems to work. Can somebody please help me with this problem?

Still not working for me. The full version of the game works fine.

I deleted servercache.dat to make sure I got a new list. I started a dedicated server to check what it resolved the master as, and it was correct(63.146.124.45:20110). My server showed up in the server list, and I could connect to it, but I couldn't connect to any other server.

doing it to me at work as well. sometimes when im waiting for a ride i play a few crappy demo games. since about a week ago its been invalid key'ing me every server everytime. no big deal just curious

I followed the tip in the other thread about exiting and
restarting the demo.  By doing that and deleting
the servercache.dat, I manage to get into a server
maybe 10% of the time.

I can't figure out anything that works consistently.
Some servers I can never seem to get into (although there are players listed), but sometimes a server will tell me INVALID_CDKEY 8 or 9 times and then on the 10th restart
it will let me in.

Can you send me your ip address and the ip address of the server you are trying to connect to?
