Oh man, what are the odds? I played SoF2 for a couple hours last night, all was well. I woke up this morning, made a minor/inconsequential change to the server.cfg of my (off-site) server, then tried to play elsewhere and couldn't see any Internet servers listed. Naturally I assumed I somehow screwed something up when I changed my server.cfg, so I completely reinstalled SoF2 fresh - and, of course, that didn't fix the problem. I wish I had thought to check here before going through all that hassle Hopefully the master server will be back online soon, so the carnage can resume! just use ase all the time then u will never have problems as to why the master server is down i dont know :S

Problem is whatever is causing this will not let you join servers, even when using ASE or Gamespy.

hmmm i could still join servers ealier using ASE, well anyway the master server apperes to be working again.

I just picked up the game, quite a coincidence that it stopped working today. As of right now I'm still seeing this in console after launching from gamespy:
