I do this sometimes, never in clanmatches you. The music I find helps remove distractions and helps you focus more. I usually play a bit better using this, but of course, then I can't hear anyone round the corner, which is pretty invaluable. There's also the fact that my computer can't handle playing music as well as the game...

Headphones are definately way better than even a high end surround system. I have a 600 watt 5.1 sound system hooked up to my computer, and feel that it cant compare to the headphones...

I love to listen to music while playing... I find that it does help me to focus, although it does have its drawbacks, especially in this particular game. So I like to keep it at a relatively low volume so I can hear some footsteps, at least the close ones.

One thing I've noticed is that turning impact prediction off is a really bad idea. If you have much latancy at all on the connection your bullets may be getting lost in cyberspace before reaching their target.

Interesting I have never tried it with the impact prediction set at anything other than default. I think I will try it another way. Zeus
