someone should put together a list of good servers where people don't have to worry about this kind of sh!t. I understand that this kind of stuff is the fault of bad admins, not a bad mod (OSP)... but it still frustrates me when I get all my weapons taken away because some dummy runs in front of my fire and gets his head popped off...

m0f0 realm is a great server to play on when I decide to play in the US. One of the best servers I've found with lots of active, and above all, responsible admins.

I think OSP is a great mod that adds a lot of nice features. As long as you have a good responsible Admin it adds a nice touch serverside to the game.

I guess you're right. It entirely depends on the person himself. And even whithout OSP they can abuse their powers. So it's no use to shoot the pianoplayer (OSP) as it has some great features indeed.

No it is not cheating, but very annoying and abusive. I guess they have the right to do it, after all, they offer a free server, time, and bandwidth at absolutely to financial gain whatsoever. It is their computer, so they can do what they want with it of course, but this kind of behavious is childish, and if you ask me, they are biting their own tail when doing it. Who wanna come back to a lame server with an even lamer server admin ? If someone gets abused on a server(doesnt have to be me) I leave directly.....never to come back.

Admins can abuse their power, OSP or not. I really hate when someone gets shot, and then the gun gets blamed... :] OSP is not the problem, irresponsible admins are. I was a CS jolt admin for a while, and am an admin for all 4 of our clan (WY6) servers, and am a ClanBase admin in the upcoming CTF Cup. I must say there is not much worse than people who can't use rcon properly and/or responsibly, and nothing pisses me off more than doing well in a game and it suddenly changes to another map. All that said, quite a lot of fun can be had with OSP. I enjoy stripping my clanmates in public games, and it's quite fun to hit each other with phones and go flying all over the level

When on top of the building in HK2 and standing on the side it isn't too much fun getting smacked with a phone.... try it to see what I mean.
