This has really been bugging me ever since I've used gtk radiant. The 3d view is there when I start up. But as soon as I pan on the xy view so that you can't see the z-axis, the 3dview disappears. Has anyone seen this problem before, and if so, do you know if theres a way to fix it.

Heres what I have in my comp if it helps at all:
Video Card- ATI Radeon 8500 LE
Processor- AMD Athalon 1100
Ram- 512 MB

Tried that but I'm still getting the same problem. It happens at any point I move the camera to on any map.

I hate to tell you this...I had the same problem.  The thing we had in common is the Radeon graphics card.  I was using the 9000.  I took the ATI card out and put my old GeForce 2 card back in and Viola! No more problems.  I know this sucks as bad for you as it does for me, maybe even more, at least I had an old card to replace it with.  I'm working with the ppl at Radiant on this...maybe they will come up with a patch for us.  Keep your fingers crossed......???
