I havnt played it for a month or 2 online, when I fired up the list of servers there is virtually no-one playing it.. Yes I do have the latest version. I list the servers by ping and out of top 15 servers, 13 were empty..WTF?? Is there a problem like Q3 has with its master server? or is it just that no-one bothers to play anymore? Is it worth me looking for servers on all seeing eye has SOF2 died?

517 dosnt sound bad, but once you remove the empty servers and the servers that have a ridulously high ping the number is far lower.. this is a #### shame cos Im bored with Q3 and fancy blowing some fuckers head off in SOF2.

Here comes this topic again. Spike is right. If you want to check it our for yourself get a real game browser like All-Seeing Eye. You can also check out the Gamespy stats page.

I originally said is it worth me using all-seeing-eye. I tried ase and found no more servers than I found using the in game browser. Just out of curiousity I compared Q3 to SOF2 - using the latest PR for both of them and only servers that ping under 100... 64 players online for SOF2 - 434 players online for Q3 1.32 then I tried comparing SOF2 with Q3 using all point releases.(pings under 100 again) 86 players online for SOF2 - 1303 players online for Q3. It will be a shame if this game does die cos I used to enjoy it so much, but the figures speak for themself.

when u consider the time, gmt its 2pm, america its morning, so most people will be at work, not playing sof2, and the side of the world that is home from work does not show up on our server list, because they have the low gore version,

erm, Im in Japan where its 11pm and as far as I was aware they have the full gore version in Japan. (well I play full gore version which was bought in Japan)

There's a lot of ppl playing 24 hours... Last I checked off prime time there was 595 servers with 1.607 players. Thats not bad for 2 a clock CET in the afternoon a Friday . Meaning Euros not home from school/work and US eating breakfast... Clanbase have 300 clans active in only CTF and thats not the biggest ladder...

last night the master server reported more than 800 servers and more than 750 responded quicker than 800ms
