Has anybody noticed something that happens on some servers that suddenly people will strafe an extended distance at a blinding speed.  Which is to say,  instead of a quick, short side to side, they will strafe in one direction a large distance:  almost like the double strafe in UT3.

My ping and connection for gaming has been excellent for quite a long time.   I usually never get under a 50 ping ever.

I have also noticed some other strange things but I could write those off to luck at this point.... maybe.

That is usually the case.....  My ping was 41 and everyone else was under 100.  Strange.

could be people messing with there rate, that makes them warp  

lagggggorama!!! I call it skipping... hehheh it doesnt matter about your ping Dys... it's their connection also! If a server lag spikes or someone has a bad connection you will see this..

The newer 42.01 dets are fast but cause hesitation in UT3 (solved by the beta patch).

I was also wondering if my attempt at always using newer drivers might be causing something...  I feel the effect is just too crazy to be a cheat.

Pings... lag etc. is really effecting the servers a bit more these days too.

or it might be the server, or just your own fps.
sometimes, my ping is really low (20-60), but whenever im uploading somewhere, i lag. yeah, sometimes i wonder how they strafe so fast. i try to copy them, but then i just get shot and die.
