This is for the person who emailed us saying that 1.03 is crap because we changed all the weapons.  Oh yeah, that person was'nt kind enough to give us an email address that worked so we could respond.

Here is their wonderful email:

"The new Gold patch is ABSOLUTE CRAP!!   WHY in the #### did you people go and muck up that damned weapons for??  WTF??   The shotty is next to completely useless now!!  Takes 5-6 Rounds at Close Range to take someone out with the damned thing and the microuzi works better than that POS. Thanks for SCREWING UP ANOTHER USE TO BE GREAT GAME!!!"

Not a single weapon was changed in 1.03.  If you really dont belive us then check the pk3 file, there is no .wpn file in it.  Gotta love people who blame patches on their inability to play.

I guess you're used to ppl complaining about patches. For some reason they just do that, they get something new - for free - and they just complain.

And b.t.w. haven't seen any "POLL: what do you want in the SOF2 1.4 patch?" kind of threads. Don't they normally pop up right after a patch.

ANd if I remember right Apoxol and the gang go through the same speal of "we didn't change the weapons" every patch too. The patch just becomes an easy target for those that have to have something to complain about.

Come of Apoxol, you know you changed the weapons, admit it. And the netcode. And then just to spite everyone, you changed the rendering engine so peoples frame rate would tank. We know you did it!

Even the gnomes shrieking from cupboards for those folk to smear peanut butter on themselves, don tin foil helmets, and sacrifice “Friends” fan club members to their alien overlords in their attics are ALL YOUR FAULT.

I sometimes wish you guys could do another patch that auto-sets everyone's connection rate to broadband (or does something, anyway) to cut down on lag-faking turds' exploits... but you’ve done a fine job on a great game, regardless.

He's probably related to the guy complaining you changed the netcode too.
