how do you insert mp spawn points in custom maps?

left click where you want the span point to be located. Select the entity (from the popup menu) to insert a mp > deathmatch_spawn.

Make sure the player is not sticking into the floor or any walls.

when i right click tho, in mp all it says is target_locator or somethin like that?

are you using the same editor that was created for the game? codradiant?

when you right click the editing grid area, you should have a dropdown of available entities.

Even if you installed the editor incorrectly, you should see options to Select and Group.

If you don't see these things, then I suggest you look at a tutorial on setting up the sdk... aka the editor.

i downloaded codradient and the menu deos come down but it says in mp target_location

Something is wrong with your setup or installation if you do not see this.

You probly do not have the directories in your Preferences set up correctly.

I had the same problem... All I did was reinstalling codtools. Then it was there. I've been reinstalling many times because many things have been missing. Right now I cant create any sfx, it isnt there when I go to texture ^^
