most textures I see in EFR were made to line up easely, you know some textures in Dangercity line up real god like Bricks, fences, grass etc. i'm just wonder, how do you line up some textures? like when I use my "Brick" texture, I stretch the brush out so I can have a huge wall of brick, but I see some lines, wich means, they dont line up so I cant them line up good.

to line up textures in Photoshop, is that possible? or only possible in other paint programs?

There are several ways to do this, but I don't know how. However, in the 'useful links' thread you will find a link to a program called 'texsynth' which makes textures tileable. Results may vary, but you can always give it a try.

'Helpful modding tips and tutorial sites' is the exact title. It's the sticky thread.

It's pretty simple..
since gtkradiant automatically scales a textue down by 0.5, 1 unit in radiant = 2 pixels on a texture, so if your applying a texture fo a 8x8 unit face on a brush, you want that texture to be 16x16 pixels. EX:

10x10 unit face = 20x20 pixels
13x13 unit face = 26x26 pixels
64x64 unit face = 128x128 pixel
120x100 unit face = 240x200 pixels

[Edit] Oops, misread the question[/Edit]

In photoshop use the offset filter, >Filter >Other >Offset.

So if u have a 128x128 texture of set it 64 both axis, then u can work on the bit at the edges...then move it back when finished.

Or... use this: http://www.telefragged.com/wally/

I use a combination of both.

Wally is good in that it (is free :D) has the tool to draw on a tiled texture...so u can join up everything, but it also has a few cool effects like bullet holes and scratches and a marble generator. :)
