Ok, I have been using another profile in Windows 2000, just got my official logon today. After logging on, with my own, I notice that SoF2 has somehow initiated the violence lock on me(even though in the install, I told it NEVER to do that). Is there anyway, other than what's in the manual(which, btw, the gore setting isn't where it says it is apparently) to unlock it again? If I have to reinstall the game, I guess I can, I missed most of the story anyway as some jackass was harassing me for some stuff while it was going on, but I can't believe I would have to do that.

If anyone has anything on this it would be most apprecaited. Sorry about the anger, I'm just frustrated by the game's sudden change of mind on the Violence lock and the inconsistancy with the manual.

Thanks,

Bel

well either just press enter when u are propted for a password goign i nto the violence lock menu, or if u dont even have that menu then, u will need to reinstall. the settings are hidden very well in the registry somewhere, so people cannot tamper with it, so they are probally in the other profile

Yeah, the option and/or password screen never comes up so I guess I'll go with the reinstall option, I wanted to see that story thing again anyway. Oh well, not too big of a deal...I'm not much of a PC guy, so the Windows Registry is a bit scary for me...;)

Thanks Spike, I think you've answered all three of my questions over the past few days. It is much appreciated. :)

Thanks,

Bel
