I have put in all the updates and my multiplayer in the console says v1.02.

I have updated PunkBuster:
pb_sv_ver:(v1.001 | A1299 C1.013)
pb_ver: (v1.013 | A0

...other points: dots that mark PunkBuster servers enabled are not showing up on refresh. Even when I enable PunkBuster it does not stay enabled in the game.

i had that prob, read thew sticky multiple patch problems thread or simply rename the 101 pk3 to update101.pk3 as it can change its name sometimes.

That doesn't surprise me at all. UrT is a mod, the majority of gamers don't even know wtf a mod is let alone research them. Some communities get and some don't. The JK2 community knows whats up, they are willing to try new things. Q3A same deal, Tribes 2, Battlefield 1942, all willing to try. All except SoF2, which still has no mod that people actually play.

One day hopefully someone will mod this into a realism shooter. Until then, UrT for me.

Spid, Yes... that was the problem. Simple problem to be sure but when you add up all the little stuff, a person installing this for the first time can experience a bummer. Yes again, it would be nice to have an update that cleans all this little stuff up: full update install of patch 1 & 2 with #3; real integration of Punkbuster so that you don't need pbweb which you use in your spare time to update. (better yet, leave it out... Activision gets their money back... pays some dev team boys to do a coop/ctf/inf/dem play action pack for SOF2, using combo RTCW and Duke Nukem characters to become 2003 game of the year!!!!!.... Sales hit 1 million for an action pack as Activision gives SOF2/Duke Nukem pack to first time buyers for $39... Activision becomes game publisher of the year as their stock hits $80 per share... Raven gets $50 million for employee stock options). <... time to get up and open your presents!!! It's Christmas morning.... ...........No, their coming with an action pack and I will sleep 'till I play it......... only in our dreams*.....)

Gotta disagree on the PB Dys. It does work and does detect cheats. Without it, I'd probably shut the server down.

lol...serb. still playing this junk? actually pb sucks in all games. slows the game down while it searches ur hard drive, and doesn't catch ####. what no one even tries to cheat anymore? i never see pb catch crap almost...
