I need help!!!!! Just got a logitech optical mouse (other one worn out). Now it takes about 10 sec and I crash to desktop. Seems to work (great) until then. Any ideas guys? The Ruffler

Did you install drivers for it? Or did you just plug it in and use it? Best thing to do is see if the optical drivers Windows 'already' has will drive the mouse.

My Microsoft 5 button optical works fine in SOFII. if you are using XP maybe you need special XP drivers from logitech?

Thats strange. IVe used three different logitech opticals on win me and win2k without a problem. Try emailing logitech support, see if they have anything to say...

Thanks for the advice! Despite installing drivers, no help. Then checked with logitech and lo and behold...new(er) driver! Works fine now...time for some killin!
