cam someone tell me how to set it up? i couldnt find any websites telling me how. when i used to be a mapper for sof 1 a long time ago finding this was easy... now anything related to sof 1 is hard to find. well if you know how to set  up sof sdk 1.1 qeradiant or have a screenshot somewhere, please tell me.

What kind of setup information do you need?

when you click edit, then prefrences it has a load of stuff to set up. it is set for quake 2 by default, but i need it to be for sof 1. i know it is not right because the only view i get is XY Top and i need front and side views to map.

well i doubt u will find a nice setting for sof1, as usualy u just set it to the engion ur mapping for, so quake2 is correct in ur case

as for the other windows, i think theres options for selecting what lay out u want in the preferences, or u can probally just use the view menu and select the windows u need

well, i did get it to work, so thanks. but i have one more question.

for mapping you need to have 3 views. Top, Side, Front. In sdk you have 3 views, but not at the same time. Only when you press alt tab you change the view. Is there a way to chage the interface to show all 3 views at the same time like in worldcraft? if not, thats ok.

one more thing, do you know where i can get a file called "sof.fgd"

well genraly for mapping i only have 2 view windows open, top down (x,y) and height (z) i only have to change to a specific view ocasionaly

but im not sure how much radient has change between q2 and q3, but curently u can select what windows u want to see with both the preferences and the view menu
