Can anyone help me w/ this error? Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error Program C:\Games\SOF2\SOF2.exe Abnormal Program Termination I always get this error somewhere in the first level of the game. Its never the same spot. I have both patches, the latest windows certified detonator drivers, and just recently updated my motherboard (as suggested in the readme). 1.2g Athlon 512 sdr ram Geforce4 Ti 4400 15g hard drive Windows XP

I get that sometimes with Kazaa. I have the hacked version of it though... Maybe thats the case for the problem. Have you tried reinstalling?

have u checked ur files with wiser 2?? do u have any custom pk3 files in ur base dir??

I have this problem too. It's the 1.02 patch doing it. The only way I can tell you to fix it is that I can send you the completed 1st level then you'll be fine. Or you can install without the 1.02 patch, play the 1st level move the files in the save folder, then patch the game, reinsert those saved files and go on from there. If you want me to send you those files stipulate whether you want amature or soldier of fortune in an email to me and I'll send them over. Keep in mind though I'm a Truck Driver and it could be this weekend before I receive your email. I haven't complained to much about this bug because I found away around it but I believe as more people buy the game and update it before playing the 1st part of SP this topic will pop up more frequently.

I had this problem with 40.72 dets upgrade to 41.09 or 41.80 will solve it.

Running SoF2 version 1.02. Wiser2 verified. Athlon 2600+ on an ASUS a7n8x. GeForce4 ti4400. Det 41.09 drivers. And the first level crashes with this error. Can I downgrade just by moving the update102.pk3 file?
