I've been having some problems with the CoDbuilder and thought I would send out a plea for help. Some maps will compile, and then all of a sudden they will stop compiling (even though changes have not been made to the map). The errors are as follows:

In the BSP compile console it will show as being successful, but it will never move on to the VIS compile console. After much time has passed it will eventually bomb out with a windows msg error saying "q3map.exe is not responding".

If I continue to fiddle with it after this, I will eventually get an error saying that "could not reference memory X at location X" (mind you I have not changed the contents of the map, just the map name and such).

The oddest thing is that not only can I still run the map with the previous compile's files (I just can't create new ones) but that if I send the files to someone else's computer, they can compile it just fine. Uninstalling and reinstalling all CoD Radiant and Builder files are unsuccessful as well.

Any ideas?

I've gotten that for a few things, if theres something goofy with your terrain mesh, or you use the clipper tool on certain brushes.

I know it sounds crazy but when that happens to me, I just revert back to just b4 the last change I made, then verify it by placing whatever it is back in the map I suspect.

This program is buggy.
