my compiler won't pass this line: merging into concave windings... "
But why? I've got only 280 brushes... its a house. I made all Brushes detail.... plz have a look, whats wrong here

do you have a skybox?
do you have an excess of models?

*edit - you should not transfer a .map file without zipping it first as it will corrupt

hi!

I've compiled your map and was getting this:

seems as if those brushs are damaged. get them fixed and it will work.. maybe ... [wink]

these are portal brushes... before i creat them there was the same "mistake".....

this shows up when you are compiling ...
When starting with "merging into concave windings..." q3map.exe crashes and the map won't compile.

I tried something. After I was deleting every "Detail Brush" the map magically compiled ... don't know why ...

My guess is you dont have brushes snapped to the grid.

most likely u had textured some brushes faces that cant be seen in the game. That can cause that error.

But isn't it just like in SoF2 that when you make a brush detail, you have to clip it! Doesn't the player walk through the brush if you dont clip it?
