another reason why it might take you more shots is lag
i get that a lot (gotta hate the 56k)

i noticed that these people who i put lots of shots into, and they dont die.., but turn and kill me..  have a lot lower pings

i.e. i can be in a server with a 150 ping, tryin 2 go 1 on 1 with people who have a ping of 20
they have less lag, and can therefore kill me easier than i kill them

umm..  did that make any sense? lol

Actually it does, sort of,  anyway, well actually I'm confused, now.  

It makes sense to me, 'cause I need something to blame my sucky playing on.    My problem is I need to know the maps better.  So, my advice to you and myself is practice playing the maps.  Don't worry about the aiming, that will come with just general practice.

there is no strategy involved in these games.  you just pick a team and run around shooting the other team and getting shot yourself more often than not.........

learning the maps really helps.

Also to keep moving. That helps me...sometimes after fragging someone, you get to frag them again when you run around the corner and rn smack dab into them..it can be irritating at times though when you are on the other end.
