yeah, i remember a thread some odd months ago about this and i replied saying i haven't had this happen to me yet, but it's happened probably 4 times now. sometimes when i get shot i can't really just WALK around anymore. i'm like sliding all over the ground and the only way to stop this is jump sparatically around or something until you gain control of your feet again. so i guess 1.02 didn't get this fixed afterall. it took awhile to happen, but it's happening now.

Sometimes I experience something similar...After I jump a lot..sometimes I continue to jump without hitting the jump button at all... I figured out what was wrong however.... My Soldier is Possessed by the Devil.

I heard it was a source code error from QuakeIII that was never tracked down, so I doubt there'll ever be a fix for it.

I get this once in a while too. But I mostly get that error where you fire and the gun goes into reload mode. One shot and then reload...one shot and then reload.. Sometimes changing weapons help...getting killed almost never helps sometimes I just have to fire until it quits hanginng. Anybody else?
