About how PB detects Aimbots.. Ok.. they code against specific cheats, which means that one that is good and makes his own Aimbot won't be stopped. And about this there's a thing I stumbled upon somewhere. There was something for Quake 2(?) that detected aimbots not on the code it was running, but the behavior of the player and his aim. So that it calculated for "impossible" shots, i.e. shots that no human CAN do, even if he is a God at playing the game. For safetys sake it didn't kick at once, but after like 5 shots and it was certain bout it's sake the prog kicked to cheater away. The test's they have made showed it to be foolproof, and they tried with some of the best clans then or something. Ppl with godlike aim, but no cheat just didn't get kicked, but a cheater was detected after about 5 rounds fired.. Dunno if this was something that came out or if it was just under production. What I read was on a forum of some sort, but I cant's find the page again But anyhow.. wouldn't it be sweet it PB did something like this instead(why not both?) of going for a specific aim-cheat.. |

I wouldn't have thought that was too difficult to do. But then, i'm sure someone good enough to code an aimbot on his own would be good enough to get round it anyway... |
