h3ll, c'mon ppl.  it's free.  i know servers cost money and sh!t, but god.  lol, there's a lot of ppl in this world.  raven's did a good job and now mods are out (been out) and not to many ppl play them.  why?

if i wanted to play deathmatch i would reinstall q3, or buy ut2k3.

they really need to run some different game types

curently there is only 1 ctf server with somone in it
the rest are dm or empty, and somoe of the dm ones are sniper ones

I think it's more a lack of knowledge that the mod exists rather than laziness.  I played the mod last night on a LAN and it was a ton of fun.  I would love to see some people put up some mandown servers.

I just downloaded it... I couldn't get in any servers with players and a decent ping but it looked nice. Especially the MP5 without silencer is cool and I like how you roll when doing a prone lean, at first I was like holy sh!t what did I do when I pressed lean. The only thing that I think is weird is that you can move faster when proned than when crouching. :S

This mod does contain some neat features, and addresses some of missing functionality of the original. I think the Sof2 community will gravitate toward this and other mods once it exhausts the playability of the existing maps.  1.02 is only 2 months old!  It’s only natural that early adopters, hardcore players, and some forward thinking folks are ready for something new… the rest will catch up, in time.

No Mods require new installations of the game. The mandown folder goes inside of the SOF2 folder.
