i'm not gonna get into a deep political debate on a game forum, but i will offer a peice of advice. it seems a majority of posters here are vastly uninformed. with the corporate media control in america this in no surprise. i strongly suggest you all search for news sources outside of the United States as you will find the news there very different from what you read in the newspapers here or watch on the nightly news.

i'm sure i'll take plenty of flames for this, but the truth is, knowledge is power, and believe it or not, americans are being denied power now through the suppression of information.

have a nice day.  :)

I tend to not trust european papers that well either, because sometimes they will come at a story with an anti-american bent or attitude. I try to get my information from a couple different sources and compare them. Or I just read what a democrat said and then try to think of what could be furthest from it ;)

The European press has an objective point of view when it comes to the USA, the American press is subjective. Why would Europeans be anti-American? We don't have a reason to have something against you guys. It's just that with the slightest bit of criticism Americans right away see it as Europeans being anti-American.

good point monox.

To the guys who say european countries are socialistic (lol cant believe someone think so :s29: ):

Is it socialistic when the gouvernment use a part of the taxes (associated employer outlay called in Europe) to give it unemployed, invalids and pensioners?
In America are 12.9 % of all people under the poverty line ( i think a defination from united nations), at example thailand has 12.5 and china 10 %. In european countrys its below 1%
(except UK 17%), germany has 0.4 % i heard
That system is called social market economy.
poverty statistics

And to wilber the following:
The problems with Osama result from two basic factors (except Osama himself)and NOT ONLY from the democrats:
1. In the 1980`s the U.S. Gouvernment and their intelligences trained and armed the muhajedin (and Osama) in Afghanistan against the occupying soviets. In the early 1990´s, after soviets gone, the land fall into civil war (taliban won as we know) and the U.S. (and Europe) didnt care any longer about Afghanistan until the terrorist attacks.

2. If the U.S. gouvernment and their intelligences  will continue winding up affairs with local warlords or despots, the terrorist attacks will go on. U.S. was ever building up his own opponents. Look at the history! Saddam was in 60´s in early 70`s enemy of the U.S. : Most of Near East and Middle Asia was British Colony and after seperate it into the new countrys based on the strategy to give all the equal desposits of oil ,it came into truth that Iraq has the biggest oil desposits besides Saudia Arabia. So they build up (actually rogue state) Irans military. Cause of the U.S. supporting Iran had the fourth biggest army in the world!!! But the people didnt like the president of Iran (forgot his name) cause he was undemocratic and unreligeous. As a result the revolution from Ayatollah Khomeni began. What to do now USA? Well the neighbor Iraq with Saddam was supported (CIA-Members training etc.) to began two wars against Iran to get oil fiels.
In 1988 Saddam gave up attacking Iran after losing second war against them. Saddam thought about attacking Kuwait cause their are less trained, armed (notU.S. supported at that day :p ) and with their oil fields Iraq would close up to Saudia Arabia. The USA didnt nothing until the attack, a secratary from fereign ministerium said they dont care about Middle Asia and the conflict between Iraq and its neighbors :s27:
You could longen this list as u want: Pol Pot, Pinochet....
If i began talk about middle and south america it could go hours on...

Dont be so greenly and desperate wourld in black and white!
Everything is more or less grey.

Isnt that kinda one of the democrats rallying points, vote democratic, we support your right to take it in the azz.  Good old moral relevancy, the democrats will support anything as long as you vote for them...
