Hi,
heres a little update about the resident evil mod.
Codeing is in a big part done... game types etc.. are done
soon we will release the code for mappers out there...
but the big problem is modeler...
we still dont have 1 weapon done =(
till weapon arent done we cant release the mod
we had 2 modelers at beginnin who did great thing...
we allready have a couple thing modeled... but we dont have no more modelers to make 'em work in game etc.. and we still need some weapon to be model... mappers can be good to have too... More maps we have more cool it will be ;)
so here is our last request for Mappers and >>> MODELERS <<<
if we dont find modelers to make weapons soon... we will be obliged to close the mod =(
this is my last  request for modelers on this forum ...
Hope to have some replys and some emails ;)

hmm if you have no modelers and mappers I don't think this mod will have any future.

Hi,
I didnt say we dont have mappers, i said more mappers we are more fun it will be ;)
I allready have 4 mappers !!!!
but a map take more than 1 month ... so its long

plus codeing is 90 % done !!! (yes i have a coder ;))
for skins i have an excellent skinner  :D
and if u ask if its ph0b0s no  :s3:  i lost ph0b0s  :angry:
i dont know where he is  :p
but our skinner is awsome !!!!
what must i say more ... that i said... oh yes
SOME THINGS are allready modeled !!!! only need a modeler to make 'em work in game,
and to make some Others Weapons !!!!

the mod has a future
... the mod only dont have weapons ;)

i like the hud and the skins... but is there any possible legal crap with using the re name and some images and likenesses?

hehe nice..... so since this is a mp mod how exactly will it work out?? 15 people are zombies and 1 person is a human trying to escape?? i could see SP working but MP confuses me

Zombies vs Cops

Zombies = Red Team
Cops = Blue Team

here is what we have on our website in info about the mod...
Some things had changed with time... or that we are not sure of like hostage mod... etc... but in general its that :


Resident Evil Mod : is a team-based modification to Soldier of Fortune 2 : Double Helix.
The concept was taken from the Capcom popular game, Resident Evil.


New Features

- 4 New Mp Type
- New Maps
- Weapons from the original Games
- Skins like :

* Leon Kennedy
* Claire Redfield
* Chris Redfield
* Jill Valentine
* Carlos Olivera
* Nemesis, etc...




Plan for the first release:
4 modes of play :

1) Survivor mod - Cops will begin with no bullets and they will need to find 'em behind the zombies base. Cops will be fast and eazy to kill. Zombies will be slow and tough to kill. Zombies will have dogs to help 'em to kill cops. 1st team who's eliminated win the round. If a zombie bite a cops, he will get transform into a zombie if he dont find really fast a healthpack.

2) Assassination mod - Cops will need to go kill red randomly generated : NEMESIS. Nemesis will be like all zombies tough to kill but he will have something more .. he'll be fast and he will have a weapon. Zombies will have simple weapon like knife, bat, stick,etc. Cops'll have Guns, Cops need to search Nemesis and kill him to end the mission. If a zombie bite a cops, he will get transform into a zombie if he dont find really fast a healthpack. - No zombies dogs in that mod


3) Escape mod - Same thing than Assassination mod - but cops will have 2 way to win.. first way - need to kill nemesis, 2nd - go to the escape point, but zombies will have DOGS to help 'em and cops will need to find an object (like infiltration) b4 to go to the escape point... if they dont have the object they cant go to the escape point, If a zombie bite a cops, he will get transform into a zombie if he dont find really fast a healthpack.

4) Hostage mod - Cops will have to find one of their friend somewhere on the map in a cell. Zombies will try to defend the hostage. But to open the cell... Cops will have to find a key.. who will be randomly generated on the map. There will be dogs to help zombies again. If a zombie bite a cops, he will get transform into a zombie if he dont find really fast a healthpack.

******* In all Mp Type ********

- In All Game Type Cops have STAMINA, that mean if a cop start to run after a period of seconds... he'll be more slow than before to run cauze he'll be tired. - In All Game Type if a zombie bite a cops he has 10 secs to find a healthpack, if he dont find one he switch team and become a zombie. - Cops are Eazy to Kill and fast, Zombie slow and tough to kill - Cops can Use Guns, and zombie can bite and use simple object like knife, bat, axe or wooden stick..

a great one that time !!!

my m8  Superdumb_J_Side  succeed to make our first weapon in game for us !!!!!

so we have our first weapon done this is really great !!!!!
