I'm just returning the service I got from Ramrod and Raven. Don't thank me, thank them. |
Whaaa, Boohoo, poor Mr. Putz. Just give me your address and i will call a Whaaambulance to come over and dry your tears!
How sad and sophmorish. Grow up or build a bridge and get over it, things that you don't like or agree with will happen to you throughout your life, how you deal with it shows your maturity or in your case a lack of it. |

what are you talking about., raven has given us tons of support as well as a great game. i dont know of many others places where you can go to actually talk to one of the developers of the game. they dev's arent around as much anymore because most of the big problems have been resolved. i emailed brian about problems i was having and got replys almost immediatly.
anyone who listens to some idiot in a store about what game to buy is a dumbass anyway, so the people your steering away from sof are probably people we wouldnt want in the community anyway.

um wtf does that mean , your an idiot, your a small nothing and your actions do absolutly nothing to raven or the popularity of the game.
good try though., sort of |

For those of you that were not here earlier... MrPoutin's beef with SOFII was that he thought it was changed from its release, to be more like CS.
How you could not think that SoFII was built upon a foundation of MANY FPS titles that had come before it is beyond me, CS included. CS is an incredible game, if for NO OTHER REASON then its got a player base the size of a decent sized city, and its had it for several years (at least).
Objective based missions (hostages, bomb defusal, briefcase retrieval etc) add depth to the game, and require more strategy then TDM, DM, or CTF game modes. When you respawn immediately after death and are just playing for points, there is not as much incentive to "play it smart" and take your time, sneaking through maps to get the drop on the enemy.
For whatever reason, Poutin was under the false impression that a small percentage of posters on this forum, pushed raven in the direction of adding the DEM and INF game modes, destroying the game in his opinion. However, that wasnt the case. I believe that raven had been toying with such ideas since the addition of MP to the game at the late stage of development.
Really... how could ANY kind of tactical addition to MP not be considered inspired by something else? So I never did understand Poutin's beef with this issue. There are certianly an abundance of servers out there that offer DM or TDM only game modes, and CTF is out there as well. If you don't like an OFFERED mode of gameplay... DONT PLAY IT.
Or get off your ass and host a server, and only run maps, modes, weapons and what not that YOU like. Its not like anyone is forced to play modes you dont like. If you hate INF, dont play on an INF only server. Simple as that.
I have always been of the opinion that added content after release is good. Even if its NOT what YOU wanted to see in particular. Because it shows that there is evolution to the game. The addition of maps, models, modes, weapons show a general concern and commitment to the game by the developers, and that is always nice to see as a consumer. |

Good THANKS FOR ASKING!! *hugs and kisses* Whats funny are his 'so called' actions to get people not to buy the game. And his 'bluff' that he'll make a video of himself turning someone away from SoF2. LOL Riiiiight!! You gonna sit around BestBuy or CompUSA all day with a camcorder and try that sh!t?? LOL How long do you think it'll be be4 store security throws your as$ to the parking lot? And do you seriously think any1 will actually let you tape them? LOL Not in todays society. And besides.....you wouldn't show your face on this forum anyway. If you did....we could all laugh at you in more ways than we do now. You all bluff and no action bud. I was ammused with you at first because of your dislike for RamRod.....but now I see your a just a bitter, sorrya$s excuse for a poster. Now get out. |
