None of these worked 100% for me, the first one got me to 995, the other two did nothing, so for anyone in that same boat, after you try these do this.

Start the game, but don’t go to the server list or anything. Bring down the console and enter

pb_sv_enable

then enter

pb_sv_update

and wait, If you do not see a successful download reenter your CDkey and verify and do no leave this screen , then, reissue the pb_sv_update at the console.

now issue pb_sv_disable

Exit the game and come back in. check the console immediately and see what client version you are running should be 100? and not 99? anymore.

I truly love this game but I will not buy another activision game or any other with PB. If PB actually gets into every online game I will simply not buy multiplayer games. In my opinion the only reason this game is so popular is because of multiplayer. It's just a sad thing to see that people are willing to ruin a great game with a bug called punkbuster. It was a great idea but evenbalance has truly failed everyone who had anticipated it's arrival. I would rather play a game with no lag and cheaters than I would with still some cheaters and all lagged out. At least when I'm not lagged I can kill the cheaters.
