OSP functionality in SoF2Runner would be good, since there is now a beta version available for download at http://www.orangesmoothie.org . "Experimentation" isn't quite the word to describe me and OSP right now.  :p

I am working in OSP beta support to SOF2 Runner at this time, as soon as I have something I will make it available to those of you who reply to this posting. Once runner functions with OSP as expected I'll release it to the masses.

All,

I uploaded a new full install and update zip that adds support for OSP. If you already use SOF2 Runner then you only need to install the updated zip. As always back up your current SOF2 Runner.exe before updating.

To use OSP from runner select the 'Enable OSP' option on the main OSP tab. Runner will create a new configuration called SOF2_OSP.cfg and save it to your OSP folder. When creating a mapcycle you will be prompted to save the cycle to the OSP folder, the default mapcycle 'Aphex.mapcycle' is automatically saved to the OSP folder when OSP is selected. If you have already created a mapcycle and it is saved to your MP folder you will need to move or copy it to the OSP folder if selecting OSP otherwise SOF II may fail to load it.

I have also added the weapon respawn cvar, this can be found under Game|Options 3|Game Play option.

Please let me know of any problems or issues that you find.

Orange Smoothie Productions is a MOD that essentially gives an Admin of a server a lot more functionality and flexibility. OSP for Quake 3 has tons of options and I assume OSP for SOF II will eventually have many of those options too.
