Knows anybody how to make a metal trash-can?!
How can i fit the texture around? I need a 16 sided brush right?

Hey,
In Radiant make a sqaure brush 16x16 or whatever and then at the top where it says "Curve" select that and then select cylinder then find the texture in textures/shop and then keep that make another bush same size then click curve - cap - normal and then you should have a working silver round garbage can hope this helps

The trash can seen in the game is a premade model. Look for it ( this its in the general / generic object folder )

Trashcan = models\objects\common\trash_can_empty.md3

Lid = models\objects\common\trash_can_lid.md3

Use misc_models entities, encase the final models in clip and shoot metal textures to stop bullets and people walking thru them.

Open up that example.map in the maps folder of the SDK and there is a trashcan complete with invisible shootable brush.

The shop one is a cylinder with the trashcan texture (so it shows the hole where to chuck the rubbish)

The texture might be noclip to shots so make a shotclip brush too and add the hole so you can use it as cover and shoot through the hole.

Argh argh argh

I need an answer i can handle with!
I think it only works with a 16 sided brush.
The prob is that the texture isnt regular around the brush!
