| Download a radient from somewhere else. I have found that radients can contain different things (textures mainly), but sometimes the settings are all screwed up as well.
|
|
Radiant doesn't contain textures. Call of duty amd UO have them in the pk3 files that come with the game.
Quote:
| Not all radients are the same. Sorry to say but if I download the radient from here, I can't even get it to install correctly. |
|
There is only one radiant out there. There has never been an update other than for the changes in UO. ALthough I have seen it in a zip that just unzips the whole thing. This MUST be done in the Call of duty dir.

| Got my copy from fileplanet (gamespy) loads of custom textures in it though, might explain why spawn points don't actually work |
|
Again, radiant doesn't come with textures. Only custom ones would be in any custom maps.

| Having said the above.. My PC should have been reinstalled about 4 months ago. The OS is dead, my Hard disk has died twice (a kick seems to work at the moment) and I have more spy ware than a porn site.............Again could explain why spawn points don't work. |
|
No wonder you are having all these problems. Radiant is a very picky program.

It's recommended to create a new post if the post is quite old. Otherwise your post may go unnoticed.
And please be sure you are editing the original COD game and not something newer. If it's newer, then please post in the correct forums. |

thelastshot writes...Quote: Well the error is,
Run-time error '339':
Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of its dependencies not currently registered: a file is missing or invalid
and yes I am on the original CoD
edited on May. 7, 2010 09:25 pm by thelastshot I'm unfamiliar with the error. However, some quick looking around has me thinking that the component cannot be accessed because it's either missing or you don't have administrator access to the file.
I could definitely see Vista or Win 7 causing this error and possibly running the program as administrator could help. |
