Hey all, how is everyone doing?

To try and stir up conversation again, I thought I would ask a question or two.

What is everyone working on? How long have you been working on it? How much free time do you find you have to invest in it?

Also, as a side note, Hellchick, aren't you back from vacation? you have been pretty quiet...

I'm currently working on two projects, The Jolly Roger and Seriously Dirty

I've been working on JR for about 6 months this time around, I've worked on it before in the past, and picked it back up again recently.

As far as SD, I really haven't been working on it lately, I started porting it to Serious Sam: Second Encounter, but haven't finished due to time constraints.

Your turn!

I'm still working on reaction quake 3, among with the joys of group projects and midterms with school.

Between those things, I've been fairly busy lately.

I've started writing my own game from scratch. I've coded the console and basic netcode. The main layout for the code is also done.

Pic shows me connecting to myself, changing names, and chatting.

So much to do  :s9:

well, real-life has thrown me a curve ball. The whole month of September, I had the flu-from-####-that-would-not-quitâ„¢, and I'm just now getting back into things.

As for rXn, we have our new website up, and I'm getting our new forums set up today. There's still some stuff I have to fix, but if any of you want to check it out (just pardon the mess), it's up at http://www.planetquake.com/teamreaction/

project-wise, our coder has disappeared off the face of the earth. Although I have another coder who can finish Q3pong, I can't do anything until I hear from Binary. :( Most of the other guys are just keeping busy, either working on small personal projects or polishing up Q3pong.

not yet, or if he is.. he hasn't told me. I figure that his job is taking most of his time, and what's left is going to Kim. He's moved in with her and they are sharing an apartment.

Hey all,

Just thought I would try and stir up some more conversation.

I thought about what someone said during the roundtable about Single Player mods, and decided this weekend to pick mine up again Single Player Action Quake 2.

I recompiled my source, started the server, posted on one message board and within about an hour it was packed with 10 people.

I'm not sure what it means, but I went ahead and modified some more and put that up, the server is hitting in spurts, and I'm sure if I had a non-sucky webpage and some advertisement I think more people would play it.

What do you all think?

Currently working on the Dark Horizons mod for Unreal Tournament 2003 and a mappack for Q3. Spending the last months getting used to 3DSmax and UnrealEd. Had quite a lot of fun with it, although I still prefer good old gtkradiant (with q3map2 of course :) )

I know I've been quiet -- so sorry about that! I spent two weeks in Europe, and on top of that for two months I was a contributing author on a book and that was eating up all the time I wasn't spending working.

But now that that's all done, I'm working on my Detonator Q3A mod. Most of the coding is already done, so now I'm working on the first map so it can be play tested. A friend of mine did the fragment models, and I'm also working on a few textures for things like the pulsar blast.
