I have copied a demoscript that I have put in an autoexec-file in my sof2 base mp-folder, same folder as the sof2mp-file is located. The problem is that it don't work!  

So each time I want to record a demo I have to paste the demoscript into my sof2mp-file to be able to record one.

Why is this? Why don't my autoexec work?

Please help me!

(I have XP as OS.)

make sure it is called "autoexec.cfg", not "autoexec.cfg.txt" with the .txt hidden.  sof2/base/mp/autoexec.cfg

Yup, its named and placed correctly and showes as a CFG-file just as the sof2mp.cfg file which also is located in base/mp. But it still don't work. I used the same script on my old Win ME pc, and it worked just fine there. I just don't see why it don't work on my new pc with XP.

Hmm, anybody else with XP having this problem?

Try adding "+exec autoexec.cfg" to the shortcut target line. You shouldn't have to do that, but if all else fails that might work.

Tadaaaaa finally!!!
After hours of bothering you and my clanmates with this problem I finally found out what was wrong.

I copied the script into wordpad, and then it turned out there were some strange codings/extra text in it that didn't show in the cfg-file. It had /par after every enter fi. How this sh*t got there I have abseloutely no idea... but when I removed this in wordpad, and then copied the edited script into autoexec.cfg-file again, it works!!!
