The only options i have under my BSP menu are:

Q3Map2: (single) BSP -meta
Q3Map2: (single) -vis
Q3Map2: (single test) -vis -fast
Q3Map2: (single test) -light -faster
Q3Map2: (single test) -light -fast
Q3Map2: (single) -light -fast -super 2
Q3Map2: (single) -light -fast -super 2 -filter
Q3Map2: (single) -light -fast -super 2 -filter -bounce 8
Q3Map2: (test) BSP -meta -vis- light -fast -filter
Q3Map2: (test) BSP -meta -vis -fast, -light -fast -super 2 -filter
Q3Map2: (final) BSP -meta -vis -light -fast -filter -super 2
Q3Map2: (final) BSP -meta -vis, -light -fast- filter -super 2 -bounce 8
Q3Map2: (simulate old style -light -extra) BSP -meta, -vis, -light -super 2

Why doesn't have the Fullvis option?Since i keep reading that's like the final compile option when your done with a map for best results.

Greetz,

There is no “FullVis” because the “sof2map.exe” file was removed from the latest editor.

For your very last compile, just use one of these

Q3Map2: (test) BSP -meta -vis- light -fast -filter
Q3Map2: (test) BSP -meta -vis -fast, -light -fast -super 2 -filter
Q3Map2: (final) BSP -meta -vis -light -fast -filter -super 2
Q3Map2: (final) BSP -meta -vis, -light -fast- filter -super 2 -bounce 8
Q3Map2: (simulate old style -light -extra) BSP -meta, -vis, -light -super 2

Q3Map2: (final) will give the best results, but could take hours to complete the compile.

Wich version of GtkRadiant does use fullvis?
Because when i use the (final options) it takes only a few second to compile the map, and the whole map is lighted like its daylight instead of the lights i placed being showed and the rest of the map is dark.
And on top of that brushes like ladders still have the green between the steps instead of see thru.

It sounds like you may have some kind of a LEAK in the BSP stage.

When you say the rest of the map is dark, do you mean part of your map is full bright, and the other part is dark, or is the whole map bright?

Version 1.2.13 uses the FullVis compile option; I am not sure whether any version after 1.2.13 uses it.

Check in the console after you have compiled the map for the word

*************
LEAKED
*************

This is the only reason I can think of that will cause this problem.

I get the same, and I have a minor leak (2 point linefile, keep having to remove little light sources) anyway, the simulate old style works to show lights.

Maybe my little 2 point linefile leak is dropping my fps...hmmm, have to finish cleaning those up....
