HI,
First off, I used the search function, so please dont tell me this question was answered here before, it wasnt. OK, lets start, I want to make a little cut-scene, probably similar to the one in SOF I, where they steal the four nukes in siberia, remember these days? So, where do I start? Please explain everything very basically and dont assume I know anything about scripting!
THX in advance!!!

Maybe start by playing around with the camera commands.  There is no tutorial or doc for this.  But they are commented in behavEd, open it up and take a look.

If we released the PRA1 map, there is your example. (but did we release the scripts for PRA1 also?)

Ok, I got the very basic thing to work: a script, that puts the game in camera mode, waits for some time and then disables the camera mode and returns to the player. I have 3 major problems now.
1) What command do I use to start a cut-scene as soon as the map is loaded?(So far I used a trigger in the map)
2) I read in the docs that a *.ROF file (or ROFF_TRANSLATED or something like that) is needed for camera movement. What program do I use to create such a file, where can I get it and how does it work?
3) How do I make a model move and which model type (*.glm or *.md3) shall I use?
THX in advance!!!

1) Use a "spawnscript" on the world, it's better than a trigger because it will start on the very first frame.
2) You can use ROFF's for camera movement if you want, but you don't have to.  For most things you can just use the pan, move, and follow commands. I don't believe we included a ROF exporter in the SDK.
3) You'll have to animate it (creating a glm from our xsi or max plugin exporter).

Thanks, works fine with the pan, move and follow commands, although it takes some time to make the camera do what I want. Concerning the answer 3), my question was probably a little unprecise, I simply want to know how to make, for example, the taxi model drive, just like in pra1.
THX in advance!!!
