We have 1 cd-key and 2 players on same IP, only when we enter the same server it will us ban for 2 minutes (2 minutes is setup by server). It gives an message that we use a duplicate cd-key. How can we get arround it? Is there a possibility to make a setting on server for that? I know, by a second cd, but why would an couple buy 2 cd's?? We are running the server also so plz give us an note how we can change server or change something on client side to get us playing both in our server.

Thanks for any reactions,

{CST}Dennis

Yeah I thought that too but why the #### would buy a couple living together (sharing all together) a second copy??? It's regrettably that Raven makes us unable to share a game which is being played in 1 house on same IP. Off course I can understand they would protect there game aggainst illigal copy's but like I sayed, sharing a game between a couple in same house is pretty normal. Thats mine opinion. I will not buy a second copy !!

Greetings,

You think two people using one copy is OK? What if you have 100 people living in the same house? That's possible. Is that OK? I'm not trying to be an a$$ here, but call Microsoft and see what they say about using the same copy of Windows on multiple computers.

My wife and I both play SOF2 and we have two copies. As do several people I know, so I fail to see where your case should be special...
The only way your going to make this work is to:

1. Buy a second copy
2. Only play one person at a time.

You will buy a second copy or you won't play.
