The 30.82s are the latest certified drivers tho some are using more recent betas.

Detonator 30.82s

You refresh rate depends on your monitor and what it will support.

The link I posted is for the xp/2000 version of the drivers btw.

You are using XP, right? I personaly would get the Det 40.72's, and only drop back to the WHQL drivers if you have problems.

I find the easiest way to find what refresh rate your monitor will support is in the Display Control Panal. Right click the desktop, choose setting, advanced, monitor, make sure it knows what monitor you have(not just generic), make sure the "hide rates your monitor can't handle" box is check, then go with a highest(or next to highest) setting.

hth(hope that helps),

Using beta drivers are at your own risk. I'm running them myself but they are not certified which means they haven't been tested and approved by microsoft. No biggie, I know...but something you need to be aware of.

Your vid card has nothing to do with ping. That's your connection to the server.
