Postal 2.....the first one was controversial, but the sequel looks like it'll be even WORSE. Infact it might just snag the award for the sickest, most depraved and tasteless computer game yet published (assuming they make it that far). I can see THIS game causing a major outcry among those who claim that videogames are bad influences. It's the perfect ammo for the senators who want violent games banned.
The recently released video trailer of this game contains some arguably sick ####, such as:

- The player urinating on the corpse of one of his victims

- The player jamming his M-16 up a cat's arse and firing through it's mouth.

- The expected mass-carnage involving the wholesale slaughter of defenceless civilians. They are shown being chainsawed, set on fire, blown up with grenades, stabbed with scissors, and decapitated with shotguns, shovels, and sniper rifles.

I'm all for sick stuff, but is a game like this really necessary - especially in light of all the real-life incidents that have occurred in recent history???

the first one was crap, it tried to make money by just shoving gore violence and everything over the top in to a game, probally cause carmageddon actualy benifited from the advers publicity, but the diference was carmageddon was good

but this might be better if they focus on game play and not focus on making it over the top

Sounds awesome, I like the idea of that cat haha.... I do think this game will be a LOT of fun, but people really shouldn't start immitating this game. Maybe they should put in the disclaimer: This game is not suitable for: heart patients, people who suffer from epylepsy, psychopaths... etc.

Heh, with graphics they won't immitate SOF2... this game will use the Unreal engine but it's uglier than the 1st unreal which came out over 5 years ago.

killing unarmed civilians then defacing the bodies can only keep u intertained for so long

I already passed this link on to some friends for them to see and they said that it probably won't come out anymore. Anyone remember that game on the PSX called Thrill Kill? Only a bootleg illegal version of that game came out because it was so violent, a couple of months later they put the game on the shelves with another name, Wu-Tang bla bla fighting and toned down a lot with a bunch of rappers as fighters instead of Tormentor and other sickos like him.

My opinion is that this game will come out, I mean, they already have it running. This far in the production phase they won't cancel it anymore, then it'd have been cancelled way earlier. Besides that this is a PC game, not a playstation game, so there is no Sony around to tell them what to do.

And about me buying this game? Hmmmm, I'll wait for the demo and if it really is as much fun as it sounds then I will get it, otherwise I won't.

Thrill Kill was a great game  The bloke with no arms who used to kick like a demon was my fave

it can't be as bad as "ethnic cleansing" you can guess by the name what it's about. if you haven't heard of it it is a white power type game. made to recruit new clan members and skin heads. what is this world coming to?!
