Activision is hosting a Call of Duty Mapping Competition. Here's your mission: Register for the competition by March 20th Submit up to 3 maps by March 26th Win great prizes like - a trip for two to Activision in LA to meet with Infinity Ward and members of the Call of Duty Team - Asylum GeForce FX 5950 Ultra Graphics card - Potential to have your map included in an upcoming release of Call of Duty The official rules and registration information can be found at the official site. They are a bunch of weenies there at "infinity ward" they only allow maps from people who are living in the states or canada and a part of columbia.... They are afraid that europeans are gonna win. Cheap bastards......

I agree. This needs to be open to everybody. Maybe we ought to have our own mapping competition at Modsonline where anybody can join.

I can understand why Activision put that rule in effect.. part of the prize is to fly the winner into LA California to the Activision building. But on RedRum's behalf..... I'm hoping that contests at this site will be coming soon. actually.... I'm counting on it. We just need a little more time to get situated here at modsonline. Perhaps by this summer if not sooner.

READ THE RULES AND RESTRICTIONS!!!!!! Just read through some of it and found out: - the map becomes the property of Activision once submitted - you CANNOT ever distribute the map publicly - no custom audio or textures allowed That's only the parts I read. So if you want to enter, be aware that your map may never see the light of day.
