Here I am watching the Voyager episode where Tuvok takes a bunch of raw Maquis crewmen and runs them through a psuedo-Academy training course, and I'm wishing that there was some sort of organization like that (non Military) here and now. I'd even pay for a week's re-creation of Academy life. What about you?

I would probably go if I then become a starfleet officer and serve on active duty and go into space
