Well, I celebrated by trying out the NOLF2 demo.  I'm on the third mission, but I need  :s31:

So far, this game is amazing.  The graphics are phenomenal, and it's just that much closer to reality - there's so much you can do.  I stunned a scientist, and carried him all the way across the map just to throw him in a bathroom.  :s10:
The only thing that irritates me is that the quickload isn't quick at all.

Other than that, no problems.  I love stealth missions.  :s24:

And the fact that I was able to run @ 1024 with everything maxed out.  Not too shabby.  :s25:

If any of you have played it, did you have problems with sound?  Everything worked for me except for the vocals.   Whenever characters talked either in cinematics or just in the level, I couldn't hear them.   I had to turn subtitles on, but it's just not the same.  Is this a problem, or was speech just disabled for the demo to save space?  ???

Hey agent, I started playing through it again just two days ago :D lol! NOLF is still one of my favourite games, because it is just so funny - all the dialogs and the characters :D

If you had time once, I could open up a server - let me know... Sum ChillKill anybody :D ?

I finally beat NOLF.  Just in time for NOLF2... excellent.

Just sharing my joy.  :s19:

Quiet Depressor, Lord of All Things Melancholy. :s19:

Thanks for the offer, Snerd, but I'm not that big of a NOLF mulitplayer fan.  It's just too... I dunno.  I don't like the way it plays.  It always seems impossible to hit anyone with them always bunny hopping everywhere.  I think I just don't like the pace of the game.  Well, it might be fun to play a game or two with ya if you want.

Now I gotta try to get the voices working...

Well the demo's readme said if you were getting voice drop out, to uninstall this 'Nimo Codec Pack' then re-install the game.  I did that, and now I can't year ANY sounds.  :s17:

Is this nimo sound thing okay to install?  I searched for it, but it looks like it's official site is on geocities or something. That doesn't sound good.

I installed that nimo thing, and I got sound again, but the voices still drop out.  This better not happen in the full game.  :s28:
