Hey, I've got this problem with my SOF2 Multiplayer. Whenever I run the game up and everything works fine I press the find new servers button and nothing shows up. I've never installed any weapon modifications or any thing of that sort. I tried restarting my PC, but that didn't help. It doesn't disconnect or anything so I don't know what the problem is. When I installed the patch, everything worked perfectly fine, but now I can't see any servers which I can log in to. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance

Same thing here No problems at all before the patch and now it crashes back to my desktop on a pretty regular basis. The only thing I have in my base folder is maps and I have the Quakesh!t add-on so I can play there.Maybe thats it Oh well I love this game and is frustrating having to relaunch the app on a regular basis If you ask around on the servers you will find a few players with the same problem. Do we need a patch for the patch? In all the maps are fantastic and I am happy to see PB in the game even though I had to change my name (no ascii characters...bah!!!. Raven so far has been great in their support and I'm sure they will continue to do so. In the meantime I guess It's lots of reloads for me and I'll try a clean install. Crashing system info... Dell Dimension 8200 P4 1700 512 megs Rambus Geforce3 64 megs Sound Blaster live XP Pro (all updates)

This time I have deleted all folders after removing the game. I will reinstall today. I am only going to put the game in and the patches and play on punkbuster servers. Let's see. ...................................... After deleting all folders etc. before a reinstall, I played some this morning with no crashes. ......................................... Played for hours this evening with no crashes. A fresh install (with all old directories/files deleted first) worked for me!!

I had some pk3.tmp files in my directory so I deleted those and it's all good now :s5:

I have a friend who just upgraded to the patch and now his game won't start. We completely uninstalled SOF2 and deleted all associated files. He then reinstalled from scratch and applied both patches in order. Game crashes now everytime on startup. Any ideas? Obviously deleting all addon pk3's is NOT the solution, so let's not bother going there...

well I ran the wiser2 and it came back and said some files are installed wrong, read the readme doc... well the readme doc was for 1.01 ... What files? How are they installed wrong? Since I can play about half the servers I join, the other half I can't..... or theres no rhyme or reason to when it does crash...... sometimes on startup, sometimes during the game....etc... Can I reinstall 1.02 over my existing 1.02?
