the sig is nice...it adds some new elements to the game but it still can not compete with the ak in a head on battle. imo, there needs to be a gun which can stand up to the ak. the m4, mp5 and sig seem to be on 1 level and the ak a notch up. we need at least 1 more weapon at that top notch. it will balance the game even more...makes sense. seems like we need another weapon that does 40-50 damage, without a scope or other accessories, with varied acurracy and recoil how bout an aug?

I think the AK is seriously overrated... But the P90 would be a nice addition in the future.

Im getting so sick you ubernoob, and about all the other arses. What exactly are your probs? Raven worked their butts of for this patch, and you do noting but bitching. Be gratefull for what you got, its not the usual thing to get 4 new maps and 2 new weapons for free. STUF lads and enjoy the new patch.

the ak is overrated, yes, but we need something that has the same damage in another package. SOF2 Gold perhaps? I hate the ak... so boring...

Raven gave me more than I expected... the 2 guns I pretty much knew about, but the 4 maps (3 by an outside group) were a great addition, plus all the bug fixes... and PB of course. The SIG is a good weapon, it gives you many more options in the field - combining the assault rifle properties with the scope. I think any new guns in future patches from now on are an absolute bonus, and nothing more. Raven don't owe us a ####ing thing... I paid my $AUS 90, ($US 50) for SOF2 knowing exactly what was in the multiplayer before I bought it, so I have no right to go around demanding new guns... fortunately Raven were kind enough to toss us a few new weapons. I think the MP is well balanced, and adding any more than 1 or 2 new guns could possibly stuff up that balance Raven worked so hard to achieve. Sure I'd like to see maybe one new assault rifle/sub-machine gun or a new accessory, but I'm not expecting to see any after patch 1.02. Ark
