This happened with the 1.01 patch yesteday (not the 1.02 patch) This has only happened once. I was on Earthquake with about 15 - 20 people playing on Kam2 CTF. There was a guy aimbotting (named Gooey, he cheats often and admits it, so that's how i know). Well we're playing the game and all of a sudden no one can move. Instead we're all alt firing. So i had my shotty and i kept butting nothing and a guy over to the side with ak was stabbing at nothing. This happened to every one on both teams for about 5 seconds and then went back to normal. I mentioned the aimbotter just in case that might cause a bug or something. Really really wierd.

Yeah, i have seen that happen before too.  Still no idea why.

This happened to me 3 times. Also fired my secondary (M203) and died instantly (like the rest of my team did )

i strongly believe its when a server had a small glich...like when power fades a little, or hard drives heat up, or other stuff, it just freezes for a second and then its fine...thats my opinion

i was on a server a few weeks ago and suddenly i was looking at the celing, any attempt to move my view back down it was just moved back up again, then about 5 seconds later it all went back to nromal, but everyone said they experienced it, and somone said it was a bug from quake 3 that was never fixed  

This happens to me quite often. Suddeny I'm leaning and when I press forward my current weapon fires once and the reload. I can't move etc..... Only way to get it solved is to press "Escape" and then return to the game. All these small bugs must have something to do with the server....

BTW: It's not really annoying. If it happens it happens....nothing I can do about it. It's still only a game.

We've have the "looking at the ceiling" thing several times but only when a certain client connects. Always the same client connecting.

I got one where you couldn't move for about 5 seconds, but then everything was fine. It seemed like a big bout of lag, but there wasn't any indication on the lagometer. I guess it was just a glitch of some sort. It only happened when about 5 clients connected at the same time, however, so that was probably the server not being able to handle that much info at the same time .

This happened to every one on a server i was plaing on last night cant remeber the name but i happened 3 times. This is with patch 1.02. On the new col2 map. Which Rocks.

Yeah I experienced this kind of problems too - very much actualy.

But it's not a realy problem, everybody has it and it's gone in a few secs so it brings no advantage or disadvantage so it's fine for me
