This is the tweak:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Memory Management

Disable Paging Executive

Note: Only users with a large amount of RAM (256MB+) should use this setting.
By default, XP pages sections from RAM memory to the hard drive. You can easily keep this happening and keep the data in RAM, resulting in improved performance. The setting we want to change to disable the ’Paging Executive’, is called DisablePagingExecutive. Changing the value of this key from 0 to 1 will stop the memory paging.

I had a nice 10 FPS boost. Prog's & Appz seem to start a little bit faster. Before I had a constant 89~90 FPS in SOF2-MP, did not matter wich map. Now I have a very playable 100 FPS in every map.

Maybe it won't do much difference for you but you can always try..... ;)

You might be interested in this for Windows 2000:

Found this site yesterday for tweaking Windows 2000 services... I haven't had a chance to try them out yet myself but it may be worth looking at.

Works in 2000 & XP, pretty much every registry thing you'll find will work in both of those.

No man thats really bad mabie we should all chip in for the guy getting 90 and buy him a new card.
JK im just getting my COFFIE.
Any way this should would help if you use less ram than you have there for you dont use your page file. However if you use to much it wont be able to cache to the hard drive if you do giving you errors. This isnt going to improve FPS per say. But if you do how ever has lots of ram. It work have to cache on the hard drive first (you can see this is the Task Manager)
Also REGEDIT.COM
Is a very good place to "learn/get" registry info.
Ok I have to go overclock something or im going to have a caffine fit  :s15:
