How many people here have actually "demoed" somthing before they bought it.  Lets say for instance a T.V.  you demo it to see if the picture quality is correct and sharp, if the color is right, and if its big enough.  Now here is an excersize, it will take more brainpower than you have used to bicker back and forth on this forum.  Ready?  Replace the word in quotations and add in test.  wow...they mean the same thing!  I think by accident i seem to have made a point.  I think anyone who played sof2mp demo remembers the barrel bug.  if not the barrel bug is when in the demo there was a glitch where you could jump into a barel from underneath and shout and see people but they couldnt get you till a foot or something slipped out.  now heres the million dollar question.  Was that bug fixed?  Yes, but in a demo?  how can that be if it wasnt a test?  Oh, Wait.  Cause they are the same thing.  I hope you hate yourself for actually reading this post.  Cause i feel as though i am wasting my time writing this seeing how some people dont ever wanna admit they are wrong.  No finger pointing going on here.  just people in general.  well its late and im hitting the sack.

uh no...there is a difference between a test and a demo.  if u can't tell the difference, thats just too bad....but there is a difference.  quake3 had tests, ut2k3 is a demo(notice how the game went gold before epic could implement any changes).  quake 3 tests were much different then  full version...
