Does anyone here know of a good place I could upload my High-res textures I made for Hexen and Heretic? I've already submitted them to Fileplanet but I very much doubt they host it. Judging by the fact you already posted this in the raven-games forum I'm going to assume they're not gonna host it,  right?  My recommendation, ask the guys at www.ravengames.com (without the dash).  If they won't or can't apply to www.doomworld.com and if they turn you down try The Phobos Lab, Gamespy's official Doom site.  It's so much easier to get things uploaded to fileplanet if it goes through a Gamespy site.

You could probably easily get them uploaded at ravengames.com, Ramborc is always looking for a new site to host, you wouldn't even have to manage the site, give him the files and he'll save them for you.

I too am a member of Raven-games.com, but I doubt Phoebus would grant you that much space.

Nice, the Hexen ones in particular came out crisp.  I especially like the Wolf/Dragon/Griffin chapel textures, it's hard to tell they were once low-res.
I have some problems with the gamma however, I couldn't manage to get the textures bright enough without making the sprites washed out (I'm gonna try Powerstrip, AvP2 has the same problem).
Anyway, good job. (are you gonna do the Hexen 2 textures next? :] )

Thanks! I spent way too much time on those textures, especially the Hexen ones since there's so many more in that game compared to Heretic. I didn't change the brightness of the textures but they might have been changed by the color conversion or the details added.

As soon as Korax adds support for high-res textures into NewHexen you can be sure I'll start on those .
