I was accused of "Camping" the other night. Let me know what you guys think. Here is my opinion... First of all I was on the RED team and was playing Demolition. 1)I think RED players really can't be accused of "Camping" because you have to 'Guard" two bases..You HAVE to "Man your post" so to speak. 2)Isn't the point of Demolition to have some players "Lock down" a area and have your OTHER Teamates kinda be "Roaming" I feel that this is the BEST way to play it. I kinda think the people "Accusing" me of camping were just kinda pi##ed that I kept blocking there Access to the sewer system.. Anyway, lets here your thoughts... jayo

There is no such thing as camping. It is good strategy. Even blue in inf would be smart to guard their extraction point. Find another server. They are whiners.

Well sometimes there are players who I really do consider as camping, but especially in DEM when on red it isn't camping... what you were doing is guarding. I like to be a rushing rambo style of player, so I think it's good if there are some behind me guarding some entrances... then I don't have to watch my back that much. If all blues are sitting at their spawn point I do consider it as camping. Hey it isn't cheating so they are allowed to do it, I don't think it's much fun to play against a team like that but they aren't doing anything wrong.

Well in the objectivs in the start of the game it does say "Protect at all costs" so thats what red does...and how else should it be done? I've never seen a person protect something by running away from it...

gaurding it is fine (nothing worse than just making it out wit the case to get shot in the back by a red camping ur extraction point) but if they are the last one allive they should not continue to camp. nothing worse than a blue camping the extraction point when the rest of there team is dead, and the red are looking the common places first, and the game lasts the full round time and the blue still lose :s17:

Well, if the last blue guy camps the extraction point, I guess they lose. Sometimes it's just a case of him not realizing he's the last one. (pay more attention) As for having to wait for the round to end to get back in the game, there's an easy solution...DON'T DIE! In any case, I can't stand hearing the word "camper" when I'm playing.

I am a happy camper cuz in real life you have to and its more stealthy i camp here move on camp there. eveveryone acts like its hard to kill a camper its the same thing as running around with your head cut off point and shoot and they will die

thats true....unless it is the LAST player on blue team camping the spawn....sometimes he just hasn't realised his team are dead...
