Yeah, I noticed that too.  :s7:
I still like SOF2 better, and I've noticed that you can only really get a headshot with the lightning gun.

One thing I noticed: People are still getting slowdown and low FPS... I dont get it!!!! Im on a 3 YEAR OLD computer and I get 60-80+ depending on whats going on.... :s26:

For those that have it, does it have recoil like SOF2, leaning etc.?  Or is it another arcade game with insane accuracy and twitch shooting?  After SOF2, I can't play Q3, Q2, or any other twitch shooter because it's just too cartoony to get into.  I mean to jump off a cliff and whatever you shoot at is 100% accurate and there is no recoil in weapons is just cheesy to me now.  I'll download it and try it, but I'm not guessing it will remain installed for long.

BF1942 didn't last long.  :)

I prefer Backgammon.

LOL :s5:

Deez Nutz, it's an "arcadey game", if you don't care about games with too much fantasy stuff, then don't waste your time. BTW, SOF2 is not too much realistic, but is great the way it is, adds half realism, half "arcadey" stuff to maintain playability; it's a very well planned game and very fun.

Back to topic, the main problem with UT2k3 it's not that is an "arcadey game" (if not, it shouldn't be a sequel of "Unreal Tournament"), the problem is that IT'S NOT A GOOD ARCADEY GAME. It's just not fun, the first UT kicks it's ass anytime.

Unreal Tournament was my favorite game until I found SOF1 in a bargain bin ----------> R.I.P. UT for me!

I thought the game was very well put together and overall pretty fun.  The bombing run gametype was a blast.

yeah, the game is well designed, but I don't like the sci-fi guns etc...

I'd rather stick with realistic guns (so the gouverment can whine about us playing the game and saying that we all have killer instincts because of the game)

Didn't like it. Played it for a few hours to make sure :)
The models are all fat mech type things. yuck. The maps lag like the army game when your on-line, feels like a record skipping.

Think not of it as a game, think of it as a platform from which a comprehensive mod community can be established.
Oh and I like it. I didn't expect anything radical but the graphics are excellent, the physics are fantastic and gameplay is just slightly tweaked UT when is still a blast for me.
