I was thinking... It might be nice if we created a channel on one of the irc networks, be it gamesnet, or enterthegame or whatever to idle in and/or talk in. Noone would be expected to be there all the time, but a place to be more interactive if need be. For now I'm sitting in a room called #Ravenmods on enterthegame. As a side note, it my be a way of checking out new people before allowing them access to the forums.

Not a bad idea. For a permanent channel, I'd go with something like #modmakers or something -- I know Rick wants to keep it generalized enough for any engine or game.

I could also look into setting up an IRC server on the raven www2 server (since that server doesn't get much use).

nah, would be easier to just get a channel registered somewhere since there are already some well established game related irc servers. enterthegame quakenet etc..
