eat what?   sandwich?  i eat nothing...i was wrong about saying that the dev team didnt think about default settings...i feel bad about that; they give me the best multiplayer i have ever played, and i make a dumbass comment like that...i am sorry about that...

ubernoob, stop by the server and we can settle this like men :s25:  we can 1v1, i can set it up woooohoooo u bad man u !!!!

Didnt mean to pee-pee ya off, but I was just telling ya what is going on out there. Server speeds are all over the place. I think the speed you all at raven chose is perfect for inf. In ctf on a huge rmg it isnt that great.

I would love to see some sand bag trenches that show up in rmg maps. That level in castle wolf with the trenches, Ithink it was caled trenchtoast was awesome but would be better if it had the sof2 makeover and it was rmg.

The m60 is barely used by anyone other than noobs, be cool if you guys at raven would give it a makeover especially for ctf. Give it a little more power and and accuraccy but the catch is that ya have to set it up and it slows ya down. You could make it so when ya carry it, you dont get a second weapon cause ya have to carry tripod. It would fit well into balance of game as it would give the sniper a large function, getting rid of the machine gunners.

A dream addition would be the addition of vehicles. I think a jeep with a dedicated driver who only carries a pistol but can drive the jeep would be awesome
you could add a road that is put down mid of rgmaps and the jeep cant go far off it, so you always no where it will be going for ambush, but you can put guys on back to fight off bad guys. Limitations in how many drivers and machine gunners a server can have woud make it very cool. A motorcycle would be cool also, would make it so you can get across map quick like the scot class in team fortress but get very litle armor like a guy with nightvision.

Things I would like to see (excluding weapons and maps):

1) Hand signals tied into radio commands. Like "Check that out!" would make your character point straight ahead at the same time.... so your team knew what they were taking about. "Advance" would make the player do one of those fist pumps or whatever they use to signal that. The animations for most of this stuff is in the SP game, but I'd like to see it tied to multiplayer. We had a poll on this and about 75 - 80% of people liked the idea of hand signals. This is probably too much work though, something to consider in the future maybe.

2) A more accurate clock for demolition as well, not down to the second but a bit more accurate, hard to tell how long you have.

3) The speed of swimming. I have a MP map probably due for release soon where there is a large stretch of water under a bridge... frankly the swimming speed is so slow you would be a sitting duck or drown in no time flat when under water. I think it is slow swimming with a weapon and ammo packs, but even a small tweak would be nice. Is it possible to tweak the swimming speed a fraction if this is possible, or maybe I missed a setting for the water when mapping?

4) Add some of the important missing entities... do doors and func_trains work properly in MP? I know Man Down has them working I think (doors anyway), but they don't seem to work for me in regular SOF 2 MP. I know Raven left them out for performance issues, but surely you should give the mappers the option to add a few extra things at the moment, even if Raven themselves would not want to use them in their own maps.

Default speed is too slow on any RMG CTF maps. Esp the big ones. Should I say sniper fest on a clear day.

Default speed r fine with customs map.

never play on the big (medium) ones.  way to big.  speed is still fine.  snipers, ha, i use the pistol on them..... :s6:

Nothing wrong with the speed. It's simple if you want it faster go play Quake III, want it slower go play AA.

If you want fun and a good time play SOF2  :D

A few things i would like to see in future patches

  Im with nails on the dual pistols  :s23:  Dual uzis would be cool as well.
  Gas grenades to throw or launch from m4 to give a blured and perhaps a little drunken effect would be fun. Make the cross hairs a little difficult to control while looking through a watered effect on the vision-sweet lol. And an optional gas mask for head gear along with thermals and such.
  Speaking of which, body armor should not be traded for head gear. That is two different areas of the body.
  Adding an extra body suit, say like a thermal suit for dark and foggy maps to combat thermal goggles would be great.
  It would also be nice if after killing someone you could run over their weapon and pick up loose ammo if its the same weapon in the feild, it sometimes sucks to run out of ammo only to run back across the entire map to re-up, unless you go into the enemy tent.
  An option to carry more knives say like 10  :s24: would be sweet, as well as the ability to carry 4 grenades instead of two and in combinations (frag & smoke or fire & flash or even one of each ) as nails mentioned a little.
  How about putting that laser sight on mp using secondary fire to turn it off and on.
  Some land mines would be great fun too.
  When someone dies from a fire grenade it would be fun to see them do the burning mans dance while screaming and yelling lol. And when in water the fire should go out and no longer take life. As of now you burn even in the water, even when you crouch and totally submerge your self.
  Voice commands for trash talking
  A stat keeper for clients, not only the servers should get this privilage.
  An sof2 benchmark to test fps would be highly useful tool for the avid sof2 player like myself  :s24:

TrenchToast.... ahahha.. that's gotta be the least played map in the history of RTCW.  What a shitty map.
