strangely, it still doesn't work. prehaps I'm doing something wrong, any ideas?

how big is your outside brush.... are you even sure it's an outside brush (i.e. did you select the outside texture and then create your brush? Did you try changing the values to something different than i gave above. I used a small brush about the size of the inside of the room in any first room tutorial. Is your worldeffect_command inside of your outside brush? If you get them three things right it will work. Oh yeah make sure you are typing the commands correctly.... if you still can't get it working I might be able to make a little demo map for you with it demonstrated..... it won't be anything fancy... but will get the point accross i'm sure. Let me know how it goes.

it only rains INDISE the outside brush or UNDER the outside brush?
